Delivery information
Your rug arrives within 6 weeks of ordering, and delivery to your location is free*. Rugs bigger than 4 × 5 metres take 8 weeks, or 6 weeks with Priority delivery.
Need it sooner? Priority delivery brings it to your door in 4 weeks for 15% of the rug price - choose it in your cart. It covers every rug in the order. With a rug bigger than 4 × 5 metres in the order, Priority delivery brings the whole order to 6 weeks instead of 8.
Order values below A$300 will incur a delivery surcharge applied at the cart.
We can normally reach most locations. However, if your property has restricted access such as a top-floor flat, a gated property, a location on a narrow street, or any other factor that may impact delivery - please contact us in advance so we can arrange the best delivery method. Additional charges may apply if a non-standard courier service is required. If we determine that your destination requires special arrangements, we will contact you after you place your order.
Delivery Times
When your order is ready for dispatch, we will send you tracking details by email.
Standard deliveries happen Monday-Friday, from 9AM to 5PM, with single-person delivery to your door. Items must be signed for upon receipt unless rugs are left in a safe place. Please see our returns page for more information. When opening the rug packaging, do not use a blade; instead, use scissors and cut away from you to avoid damaging the rug inside.
Customs & Duties
The Exact Rug will arrange and pay for any applicable import taxes before dispatching your order. If in the unlikely event any additional customs fees are applied, please pay them, and we will reimburse you promptly.
